Conway AKA "Rivertown"
The City of Conway is also known as "Historic Rivertown." It was established in 1732 and is rich in history and culture. Historic Downtown Conway features many shops and restaurants, the Conway Riverwalk along the Waccamaw River, Coastal Carolina University, and many other great amenities. Settled about 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach, Conway is a great location for those who want to be near the coast but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of visitors and tourists.
